Tell Me Beautiful Things

Tell Me Beautiful Things

A Poem by SamanthaGalli

Going under, cigarette mouth make out

Drinking and driving, trying to figure you out

I don’t really wanna be here much, I’m just around for the rum and my love

I’m obsolete, a specter. Nothing more.

I have so much to say but no one is worth my time.

Speaking beautiful words and having scintillating ideals

is no use to fools, stuck in their own little world.

I want to get out of this town, and see everything that’s left that’s still intact.

You’re all the same. Plain, uneducated, and uninteresting.

I’d rather be alone, forever until someone else speaks as beautifully as I do.

Wow, somebody is really impressed with themselves. Very misanthropic. I can relate to your sentiments but they aren't very endearing in print.

Brilliant choice of words.. The depth of this writing echoes originality. I applaud you on this short, simple and stylistic piece. #RealG #Brilliantmind

I feel a sense of longing here. Unwillingness to give in
to what life has brought you so far and holding out hope
to find your perfection. Awesome

So simple and beautiful. Loved the darkness and the vulnerability it held.
Great stuff
