ApplesA Poem by SamanthaThe taste of a first kiss
We lay here
My head on your lap Yours resting on the head rest behind you We were meant to be watching a movie but we were to caught up in watching each other I was eating an apple Chewing the pieces just to get on your nerves It worked You told me to shut up I told you never You looked me in the eyes and said ever so sweetly Oh darling I got my ways to shut you up You leaned down and lifted my head up and kissed me Our first kiss Our first taste of something sweeter than the feeling of falling in love You set me on fire I left you wanting more I was left breathless I left you dazed We glowed that night Just like the glow sticks we had used We may have been drunk off one to many bottles of whatever they brought us Or we were drunk off each other Drunk off those apples Drunk off giggles Drunk off love © 2016 SamanthaAuthor's Note
