EvolutionA Poem by Jacob MalonePoem about how we are all connected.
In a sense,
We are all the same
The same blood, the same people
Even if we all are different in our own special way
We are as related as each branch on a tree
All deriving from the same seed, planted before us.
Let me talk about the past
Back to our oldest ancestry
The first people,
Whoever they may be
Started this grand species long ago,
On there own,
Can you believe it?
So no matter how we act, who we are,
What religion we believe,
In the end it all comes down to blood,
Thicker than water, more precious than gold.
So no matter how we change,
From stone tools to stone temples,
We are always going to be the same,
From glass pieces to glass towers,
For we originated in the same place,
From silver swords to silver guns,
And nothing not even war, strife, or evolution
Can tear apart the human bond
Because we are all held together by the strongest connection
Blood, that is thicker than water, more precious than gold.
