Wasteland

Wasteland

A Poem by Samuel Hardison
"

the title explains it

"
The wasteland is no place for me
the sounds are too harsh
i can not handle the heat
the nights become too cold
the days feel too long
i have found a shield
for the wastelands effects
terrified of losing it
i hide it from others
no one may know
i can be shielded from this hell
