End Of The RoadA Poem by TrevorInspired by the album and movie "Into The Wild"
I hear the silence downstairs and I am afraid
To look out my window to see rain fall in real time I search for myself around every corner Beyond every road I know I will never find myself and I discovered My life begins at the end of the road On my first day of my life I can hear the trees Singing with the dead Which reminds me I am pure in all my thoughts And so are you I have not cried the night before Knowing the next day is when I will rise up from society Leaving my nest of a home I realize I'm digging my own grave But I am alive in this world And so I will be in the next © 2010 Trevor |
