Soulmates

A poem of love

I gently awake in your arms firm and loving,

you look into my eyes and smile that special smile,

I feel safe and at peace with the world

for I am forever home in your arms,

Our lips meet with featherlight touches,

that sends sensual thoughts of love

coursing through our bodies,

Our kisses deepen as passions awake

You move over me and slowly enter,

together we move as one and as our

souls reach heaven, together we peak,

then finally we mould into each other,

soulmates forever.

I liked the love in this piece. It was subtle but strong. The image of two entities merging together in the end was wonderful. I could just imagine as becoming one with another in that moment of bliss.
