Poetic Indiscretions

Poetic Indiscretions

A Poem by MCSajini

I let it slide… I let it slide
Along with my pride
It was my joy
A perfect decoy
But I let it slide… Along with my pride
My brain is fused
Nothing left to muse
It offered me sanctuary
An individually perfect cup of tea
But I let it slide…And tried to hide

They told me it had touched
Their hearts, before, barren as such
So I continued my play
Till it stopped flowing the other day
So it’s only clear I let it slide….. My only charming stride

Now it seems to peak slowly
Beneath my veil of uncertainty
Is it here to stay?
Or is it another well devised game play?
The question is…
Should I, again, let it slide? Or hold on to it with all my might?
