Where Was I?A Poem by MCSajiniI was asleep For as long as I can remember My soul was yours to keep While I roamed for what seemed like forever… I forgot my pen and paper I forgot my passion and tears I hadn’t in me the comic caper That once helped to keep at bay the fears
But were you to blame For my life and it’s aim? Could these that made my stomach turn? Be life lessons, and its usual churn?
I hadn’t the strength to hold on But hope flickering like beacon That eventually ignited a spark For you maybe invisible But you sent me a message For when I get caught in the drizzle You will offer me shelter and safe passage
For you plant thoughts That drowns out the storm Thoughts that make the way out, easy to sought.
