GOD HAS WRITTEN OUR LOVE…

I expect you to turn curious to hear the music of my pain

When you cannot read eyes, I lose the zeal to open them again…

It seems as if your heart doesn’t want to spare any space for my sorrow

I wait for your sympathy in form of mere words, not through bow and arrow…

Why did you allow the rays of my affection to hypnotize your soul?

The intention of poems is to simply apprise you about my devotion as a whole…

I still stand by each word of promise made between us in the previous birth

What is my fault if you have forgotten everything in pursuit of fake mirth..?

If thinking about death is pessimism then I am ready to take this blame

Not you but the mirror I talk to everyday has hurt me; isn’t this a shame..?

The gardener warned me in The Past to hold any flower except a rose

My wound is inborn; your expectations only incite them to expose…

I hold silence in high esteem; so does silence respects my privacy

Other than me, my diary knows about our affaire but didn’t maintain secrecy…

Water seldom leaves The Sea even flame hardly moves away from the blazing fire

Who are we if not water and fire; we don’t look good in any other attire…

Tears are my most prized possession in this lifetime after your memories

I cannot part with either as every drop is equivalent to hundreds of our stories…

The shimmering Stars do not let both The Moon and me sleep each night

I have been craving to dream since ages but you are nowhere in sight…

Throw one stone in pond at least I will see your shivers in the quiet reflection

You may ignore…you may humiliate but don’t disregard my affection…

I have narrated you the entire will of God along with proof of His desire

Is there any other way to love you…is there any other way to admire… 

 

How can you ask for more My Dear, this proof is enough…

God has written our love in His will; let us obey Him...

Sagar, I really liked this poem.
I always say this, and cannot stop myself from saying this here as well. A truly heartfelt story always makes for a pleasant read and a beautiful experience.
The first two lines really got me in and got through to me. :)

But the thing about it being written or God's will; hmm, I don't like to put it that way. I think of it as something that feels just right, that seems as natural and effortless, and essential, as breathing. But that's just my views on love. Would like to know how you see it. :)

It feels nice when anyone relates to the words any writer use to compose anything meaningful. Be it a poem or a story, all use the same medium to ink. It is just one's capacity and capability to find the correct chords to orchestrate any music. As for poems, stories words are of course available in the lexicons...we all trace them and place them at proper places, thus the poem...
However I always feel that words come after emotions...and this is my firm belief. Herein too, I request you to reread the effort in this pretext. But I certainly respect your wisdom as a reader's eye, as if and if anyone who advises or suggests, he or she is most true reader. And without readers, writers stand nowhere.
Love as you rightly said is a natural expression...none other than the two participants must relate to this sentiment...as the diver knows how deep the ocean is... The various stages in love makes us meet so many other travelers in the voyage...be it living or non living...and we keep on adding them in our list. While in the sojourn in this poem as well, the poet met some angels who at times waved and at times shut their eyes...some roses the poet too met...not strangely enough, they were with thorns...
God's will is entirely one plead with the beloved, to embrace the sentiment of love. It is not by force or beguile but with sheer affection and warmth...

Indeed, with regards to everyone, a poet is also a messenger of God as everyone else is. The poet perhaps picks words from all corners of heart, places them at proper places with the mind...and the poem is thus orchestrated...

This is brilliant artistic lyrical writing of a superb quality. I'm sorry I can't appreciate it, the way others appreciate reading the classics. I've never been one to read & enjoy classic poetry. In this beautiful world, there are umpteen number of humans...there are flowers birds, fauna and flora too...there is everything and anything in this world. The bird while flying cannot ever touch each and every sentiment of The Vast Sky...the water cannot also reach out the other droplets of water in The Sea...the granules of sand also cannot mingle with numberless granules of sand in The Sahara...we all co-exist for a reason, we all have varied parameters to believe in this reason. Poetry is never to be understood, it is a feeling which travels from one heart to another, I am so happy you like me also became the carrier of this feel...
