Wrote this is 10 minutes. I felt like it came out pretty well considering it was written that quickly. (: Enjoy.

i spent all night dreaming
that maybe you’d come through
maybe you could be depended on
is that too much to do?

 

i fell in love with you
that night under the stars
“i swear i really love you, babe
i know we’ll make it far”

 

and now i hate to see you
our eyes just never meet
if you see me out in public
i’ll pass you on the street

 

when i sit alone at night
i wish that you were here
however, at the same time
you are my biggest fear

 

it’s time to be a man
and face me with no shame
what did i ever see in you?
you played me like a game

 

“best friends” turned into strangers
your words now have no effect
you’ll never know who i really am
and im not what you’d expect
