enemy of my enemy

enemy of my enemy

A Poem by CK Kimball

This is not the ending.
Nor is it the beginning.

You are the beginning of the end.
The penance from eons of sin.

Seven signs and plagues, divine.
Do you see the writing on the wall?

Scrawled out, scribbled. Bright and wide.
Laid out like some anthropomorphic mirage.

This metaphor’s been overdone once again.
Did you open the box before you shut the door?

Cast the shadow, hollow more souls...
...The enemy is the friend is the family and what makes you whole.
