Little signs

No one would knowR it, no one would expect it but I know.

I seeA the small things, I see the many signs.

Our love is long overP, but our affection runs deeper than anyone can see

 

No one wouldT see it, no can understand.

But I see the subtle signsU of friendship he hands me.

I seeR it even if he doesn’t mean for me to see.

 

HeE doesn’t occupy my heart any longer,

 But the part of me that misses his companionship

Longs to grab hold of  those small signs he gives me

 And never let them go

CAME 

So although no one sees it, and even though the signs are so small

They are hardly noticeable

I see them

And I accept them with a heart open with gratitude
