You should have seen your face
That single look
Of sadness
And surprise

I didn't mean to have you hear me 
I didn't even know you were there
Standing directly behind me
Listening to me talk about you

I knew I shouldn't have told them
Even if they pleaded with me
For weeks
Years even

I shouldn't have said anything
*sigh*

I'm sorry
I didn't want to upset you
I didn't want you to even know how I felt
I shouldn't have told them I like you

Please don't be upset with me

Why did I try
For something more
I knew it was pointless

Author's Note

This is not nearly as good as I had hoped and I had a REALLY hard time putting it together. But to be honest I wasn't trying to make it great I was just writing what I was feeling. I was talking to my friends about the guy I like and I think he heard me, and now he is acting weird and I am really really upset.

It sucks when this happens. I've been in the situation of having to confess my feelings for a friend, but they just wanted to remain friends. It sucked, but we still have a good laugh together.
