Concert

I went to a concert tonight
It was amazing
The energy of the crowed
Just carried you away

The cold breeze from the ocean
Blew through
Like a wonderful blanket
Of life

The music blasted so loud
I had to scream
Just to hear the sound
Of my own voice

Everyone that surrounded me
Had a look of pure contentment
Like even though life may suck
In that moment

Life was good

The slow music started
People swayed
And let the sound
Just wash over them like a tidal wave

The music stirred up deep emotion
You just could help
But dance
To the beautiful music

And ya know something? 
In that moment
Even though life kinda sucks
In that moment

Life was good
Real good....

Went to a concert today at the Ventura County Fair it was AMAZING! and I had to write this.

Nice poem. Yeah, concerts are supposed to do that. music drowns all our worries/problems away.. We're at the beat, rhythm, flow, sound of the music.. it makes us feel we're in an alternate world. Well, it can at times. ^-^
