I feel somthing again

Fluttery feelings
Heart pounding
Nerves out of control
Mind spinning

It's been a long time
Since i've felt any of this
For so long I allowed myself
To stay heart broken

I found contentment
In feeling sorry for myself
Feeling alone
And sad

But that has changed
Temporary?
Most likely 
But I am content

I enjoy seeing him smile at me
I love hearing his laughter
I love how he makes me laugh
How he makes me forget

I have been numb for so long
So angry
So sad
So alone

But even though I know
This feeling may never last
I have learned
I can feel again

He makes me happy
He makes me nervous
He challenges me
He makes me feel pretty

I am no longer sad
Alone
Angry

Because I finally
Feel something....

I like this guy he is soooooooooo cute kinda looks like Rob Low and he is leaving for college in a few months so this is only temporary but I am happy just being able to feel this way even if it only lasts a moment

Ah, this is a sweet, lovely and honest poem. I'm glad to have read it. Just two observations: second stanza second line maybe it should be 'since' instead of sense and 5th stanza third line maybe 'he' instead of the first 'me'? Nothing major, you would have picked it up anyway.

I love "loves" first feelings of happiness. You feel like nothing can bring you down and you do want to cherish every moment. I felt that in reading this piece brings back old memories of when I first met my husband. Great piece!
