My heart

If I had to write about my heart
If I had to tell you how I truly felt
If you really wanted to know

I don't think I could tell you
Writing down my feelings
Writing down my heart
 It Can't be explained in a single piece of writing

With every poem I write
Every story I compose
Every word I speak

A part of my heart is in it
Parts of my soul
Parts of myself are put into it

I have loved and lost
I have felt joy
And I have felt pain

How can all the feelings that come with
All those experiences be explained
In one poem?

So here is a single piece of my heart
Just one thing you need to know
My heart is a sea of undiscovered things

I will spend the rest of my life
Putting my heart
Into everything I do
