Lost

I don't know what to do anymore
I am so confused
And lost

I stand in the rain
Reaching up to heaven
With one simple question

Am I supposed to stay?
Should I try to make things better?
Should I try again?

I am so lost
Tears fill my eyes
And I fall to my knees

He broke my heart
I turned my back
And ran away

I cried all the tears
And I felt release
I felt freedom

But I keep coming back....

What am I supposed to do?
If I where meant to stay
Wouldn't have their been some sort of sign

Tears run down my face
Hopelessness fills my heart
Pain washes over me

I said my goodbyes
I forgot the pain
I released myself from everything

But it doesn't feel right
And so I sit
Alone
Completely lost 

So as I sit here
I look up at heaven
And scream

IF I WAS MEANT TO STAY WHY CAN'T YOU SIMPLY TELL ME SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy to get lost and feel not needed. Life is a wild field trip. We will have many good days and many bad days. We must get up from the bad days and go forward. Make the good day last as long as possible. A excellent poem with many questions.

That was truly great. Everyone does have their good and bad days. It just a choice we all must make: do we get up and try again, or simply just quit? It can be difficult when you become lost, either with the thought of neglect, isolation, or you've lost someone close to you. These are challenges in life we all face, every day.
