A Poem by sarah

Was it real?
Did it really happen?
I don't know
I can't remember

Did I love you?
Did I give my whole heart to you?
I think I did
It's all a blur

Did I care what happened to you?
Did I comfort you when you were upset?
I think I remember that
Vaguely

Did I listen to your sweet words?
Did I laugh at your jokes?
Did I smile at your accomplishments?
Did I listen to you when you were troubled?

Yes I do believe I did
I did a lot for you now thinking back
I just have one more question
If it wouldn't bother you

Where were you?

Where were you when I was upset?
Where were you when I needed your protection?
Oh that's right
You were off using someone else

Ha! Lots of valid questions, but the best is the valid point at the end. Loved it!
