The world

It all seems so easy
Love
Peace
Comfort

It all seems so simple
Hugs
Kisses
Smiles

It all looks ok
Ignore conflict
Smile at pain
Laugh at anger

It all looks black and white
Drown the world out
Make your own perfect world
With no reality

That's all fine
And fighting about that is pointless
But sometimes facing the truth is what will save you
Sometimes seeing things for what they really are is ok

The world isn't always black and white
Sometimes you can't just hug and kiss away reality
Sometimes you can't just ignore the conflict
And hope it goes away

The world doesn't work that way
It never did
Never will...

Idk really where this came from, I guess I get tired of hearing that all we have to do is hug and it will all go away, if you hold a peace sign up everything wrong with the world vanishes. IT DOESN'T! sorry...ranting mode. Just let me know how you like the poem :-)
