Love

I believe in love
And in romance
I believe that there is a good guy out there
Waiting for me

I have had my heart broken
And I won't lie
And say I walked away
Without a few cuts

But I believe in love
I believe that marriage
Is more then just a piece of paper
I believe it's forever

I know love hurts
And sometimes
It leaves marks
That may never go away

And I may be a silly young girl
Who doesn't know much about love
But I know enough
To believe it's possible love someone forever

I believe there is someone out there
Someone who is waiting for me
Just like I am waiting for them
I will find him someday

And then ill show people
That love is more then heart break
And I will love that person
Till the day my heart stops beating

Very sweet poem! When I saw "love", I sorto groaned and thought..... Not another one! But it was unique write, not the usual cheesy stuff!
I like the questions you purpose. I'm wondering all those things myself, so it's good to know somebodies in the same boat.
I really liked your line about marrige. I agree with you, it's more than just a piece of paper. I hate nowaday how people think so little of it!
Your question on the flow. I think it sustained itself pretty well! But for each stanza I felt the last line sort of lost it?!?!
But it doesn't really matter, it was a wonderful write!
