Whenever a life is taken
A new life is being created

Whenever pain is being caused
Someone is happy for the first time

Whenever someone is crying
Someone else is smiling

Whenever a relationship ends
A new one begins

Life is a circle
Whenever their is a negative
There is a positive following behind

yep sure is true. thought this was really good, quite an interesting topic to write about. short yet really poignant work. i couldn't help but notice you wrote "knew" instead of "new" (was that intentional?)

It seem to be true in some life. I do believe in karma. All the good things we do will come back to us. The bad the same. A person who tries to live a good life. Will be rewarded. A man or woman who is hateful and greedy. Will drown in their sins and money. Your poem is true in a sense. Better to be kind then play a fool. A outstanding poem.

Have you ever read the writings of the Dalai Lama? He says something in a similar vein, that when one friendship ends, another one will come just like when one day ends another day will come; except he expressed it better than I did.
you stepped a little out of your comfort zone and I am happy you did, you wrote a really good poem, a poem that is accessible to everyone. Everyone can relate to it. That is an impressive feat for any poet.
