Hidden Blue

Life is Blue
Hypocrites surround me
when you really look at it
I stand alone
Not a single human being in sight

The sea is blue
Your candle burns bright
the sky is blue
beautiful in make
a persons mood is blue
disguising inner darkness

people even play the blues

Exposure of the soul
the world is blue
every touch burns
when you think about it

no healing touch will ever find me
life is all sorts of colors

mostly blue

No way of escape for us now
peoples tears are thought of as blue
mouth open wide
homes are painted blue
but no sound escapes from either

a persons thoughts can be blue
all are captive
which is very blue thinking
smile sweetly
no use hiding your fangs

I can see them
mostly blue
I know your intentions

I scream in vain
FOREVER!!!!

What a fascinating write! I loved the concept of this piece, and thought that it was a really intriguing and original idea. I liked the style of this poem, and the fact that it wasn't entirely obvious that you had taken two separate poems and put them together, which was a concern that I initially had. I thought that the last two lines were a little random and a little brash for the rest of the piece, but other than that, I really enjoyed reading this. Keep writing!
