If only you knew....

If only you knew....

A Poem by sarah

I wonder if you know...

If you can tell...

do you?

Do you know that I still care?

Do you know that I never stopped?

Do you know that?

I wonder if you realize how much I cared

I wonder if you know that I honestly loved you

I wonder if you know that seeing you sad kills me

I wonder if you ever think of me

I wonder if my face ever crosses your mind

I wonder if you still care

Do you know....

That when your hurt I am hurting as well

Do you know...

That seeing you depressed makes me depressed

Do you know...

That my affection for you hasn't died

Do you know....

I wish you knew...

That your face is always in my mind

I wish you knew...

That your voice is a song in my ears

I wish you knew...

Your smile lights up my world

I wish you knew....

I was hurt....But I healed

I cried...but my tears dried

I was sad...But I was lifted up

And now what....

I don't know...If only you knew...

This is sad... I can take sad poetry though. The thing is when a person leans too much on another they lose power, self esteem, and their worth just sinks down into a hole. Easily manipulated by that one person they look to as the wall to hold them up. Listen to "Opiate" by Tool. Just that the example in that song is religion.

wow I really likes this. What I like most is that it seems to take you on a time line. A time when you were hurt and wanting something that wasnt there to how how you moved forward. Beautiful job sarah!
