It was all fake

Fake smiles

Fake conversation

Fake concern

It was all an act

 

You know what I did

You know you dissaprove of me

I know once I turn my back you will bash my name

I know you don't care

 

I don't need your fake pity

I don't need your fake worry

I don't need any of you

 

You know what I did...

And you know what I wouldn't change a thing

I would galdly do it again

I don't care if you dissaprove

 

Yes I am young but at least I fought for what I belived in

At least I wasn't pretending to be somthing i'm not

At least I was honest about my feelings

 

Don't pretend to care

I don't need your fake humor

I don't need any of this

I loved him and you know what I am not sorry for it

 

So stop trying to convince me other wise

Don't pretend you forgot what happened

Don't peretend to be my friend

Just go home....

I love the end. " Don't pretend to be my friend." I get where you're coming from. It has happened to me over and over again. People trying to be my friends when they don't think of me as anything. Trying to find out my secrets and thoughts to just make fun of me later. It's a great poem I really enjoyed reading the power in between the words.
