The title I desire C

"Girlfriend"

 

The titlesU I have had for so long

'Friend"......

"Best friend".....

"SistNer"......

 

I held theTse titles proudly

I bore them with honor

because although they were not the title I wanted

They meant I was important to you

They meant I was special to you

 

You thoughtC nothing more of my title

You thought nothing more of me

 

But in that mUoment that meant so little to me

In that phone call that held no great importance

My titleN changed....

 

In those Tmoments I was more

A feeling of more than a friendship appeared

A feeling of jealousy you couldn't explain

And all of a sudden you saw me

You saw me the way I see you

 

I am not "Girlfriend"F

But my title changed

I'mU "crush"

And for now that is the most beautiful title I've ever had

Will I ever beC "Girlfriend"?

Only time wKill tell......
