A Poem by Sadani Atapattu
"

This is about the freedom one experience at home like no other place in the world.

"

Nor sumptuous nor shabby

Nor spacious nor stuffy

Whatever wherever may be

Love prosper all woe

Gifting the whole sky to ponder

And the curb to pester

A world of your own

Yet an aeon you wish to own

The freedom so rare

Tittle tattle blabber the way you care

More for loiter and blunder

Evading the wrath of thunder

Lifting the haze of incredulity and qualm

Hauling the glint of hope whilst calm

Manoeuver for the truth and not to give in

Rooting for you here friends and kin

Amidst the woolly life riffle

Whether to dally nor dawdle

Home conjures serene

Dampens the dreary scene

The snug cushion so familiar

Aroma of freedom spectacular

Beckons wherever you are

It’s the home beyond compare.
