Dear Friend

Dear Friend

A Poem by Stephen

Tears cascade down

Bending over

You pick them up

Even if it hurts

You are always there

Your delicate hands

A soft heart

Willing

Providing guidance

For a troubled soul

You’re the sweetest flower

Needing the perfect bee

I hope you find him

I know you will

If you shall fall

I will try and be there

To pick up your tears

To be your lifelong friend

Hello, Stephen!

Awww! What a sweet poem! :D
I love how you talked about picking up the tears and being there for a friend. This poem really made me think about my own friendships. Family is always first and they'll always be there for you, but friends are so important. I think one needs more than just family. And the friendships you make along the journey of life are so amazing, even if they, unfortunately, don't last forever. Good, true friends are sometimes hard to find! I hope you have one and that it does last for a long time!
Great job on this poem! :)
