Someday when you want to forget but you can't but you don't want to remember but you can.

But today is not the day,
Where you can be you and I is I.

Where you can call me yours,
And I can be mine.

But darling today is not the day,
Where you and I can be us.

Where the night is not ours,
And the day never was.

Oh sweetheart today is not the day,
Where the night was shiny and bright.

Where the hearts was connected,
But the soul never was.

Cause darling today is not the day,
Where the two will be one.

Where the roses were red and exchanged,
But throne was never gone.

Because today is not the day.
Where you never bled.

Where the flower will blossom,
But the fragrance is fade

But darling it's the only way,
For me to forget.

Cause darling today is not the day,
That I will miss you and write you these texts.

Break ups or fading relationships can be painful. We are left with memories of how things used to be. It would be easier to forget, but we don't do we? A poignant poem here. Such a touching read of lost romance. Thank you sabinn. Sending you seasonal greetings across the pond.

I guess that's what human being stands for to understand all the feelings like love , pain , hate etc. The learning for the most complicated thing ' love 'is tiring painful but I believe it's beautiful, even the lost love is painful but the memories we have with them are precious and beautiful.
