A Little LoveA Poem by sabinnJust the love I want
Okay love, all the life that's left,
I fell in love but not in love. I never wanted a love to be old, Neither do I wanted that love to be bold. I just wanted a simple but sweet love, Not a heavy hand to lean on. Neither did I portray never did I fall, I just wanted a sweet love. Never did I looks for the Alice, Who got lost in her wonderland. Nor did I wanted a snow white, So charming and bright. I never wanted a Cinderella, Whose shoes just confronted her. I never wanted a girl who would kiss a frog, To give rise to the prince that was long lost. I just wanted a love simple but sweet, All I want is a little love. A little love to hold hand, I just wanted a sweet love. Neither did I want a beauty, Who would tame the beast. Neither did I wanted a Rapunzel, Who would lure me to her hair. Neither have I wanted the mermaid, To have kissed on just to speak on. Neither have I wanted a princess, Nor I stand to a prince. I just wanted a sweet love, Or something just like this. I never a wanted a love to be old, Neither do I wanted a love to be bold. I just wanted a love that's silly and sweet, I just wanted a love that's simple and sweet. I just wanted a love that's simple and pure. I just wanted a love to close my eyes and feel it's mine, oh I just want a little love this time. © 2021 sabinnAuthor's Note
