Iodine

Iodine

A Poem by Saaski
"

Here I go again.

"

It is cold where I stand.
Iodine structures
form like crystals over my mind,
all at once beautiful and crippling,
and I am calm,
and numb.
When the playback stops,
the coma takes hold,
and I slip away from the agony,
for a breif moment of blackness,
but deep in the crevices in my mind,
monsters are hiding,
and they come out to play in the darkness.

They say that ignorance is bliss.
I'm starting to think they're right.
