Bleeding

Bleeding

A Poem by Saaski
"

I don't like the ending.

"

I can take
the cold metal
and I can make this real
and scarlet
flashing like hound's eyes at moonrise,
running in slow motion
down pale saplings.
Sticky trails left behind
are remniscent of what I've done,
until they harden
and become rings on the tree,
but at last, the monoxide
is free of my lungs.

Yeah, the ending is kinda incoherent.
So yep.

I dunno. I got a meaning out of the ending. To me it sounds like you're being cleansed, purified by your actions. That may not be your intended meaning though. But hey; in poetry words don't necessarily have to be coherent to have meaning. :)
Overall I thought this was a fun, nicely written poem. Good work! :D
