Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach

A Poem by Saaski
"

Ehh.

"

I am going to get away from here.

I am going to get to a place
where you
and everyone else
can never find me again.
There,
I'll stare out into the ocean,
into the foam,
and I'll release all of you
into the peaceful tide.
I'll watch you float into infinity,
fall to my knees in the sand,
and weep.

Then I'll find a solitary place,
just like I always said I would,
cold and distant,
looking out at the beach.
And,
staring out into the ocean,
I will let my body rot away from beneath me
just like I always wanted,
and slowly fade away
beyond all recollection.

Gloomy, but nice imagery. Great stuff. (I am so tired right now; not really intelligible.)

I did feel it was repetitive in some areas, for example finding a place...and then finding a place again, but I dunno. It's probably not a big deal. I'm not thinking straight right now.
