That I can see you with me

Both of us old and gray

Surrounded by our grandchildren

Who always come to play

I’ve already named our daughter

And can see her pretty face,

Our son looks just like you

And has your gentle grace.

There is so much I see

When I look into your eyes

But most of all

Deep in me

I know there’s no goodbye.

Is it too soon to tell you?

Am I just insane?

Or is it when you look at me

I can see you feel the same?
