The Song I'm Singing

This is a very personal poem for me. i made a melody for this so now i can really call this a song. A song for the dream i have been wishing to come true since i was little. hope you will like it.

In the darkness i stand alone

Never knowing the way out,

Almost losing hope,

Seems like a thousand years 

that i've been searching for the door.

If i could only reach the stars

In my dreams i know i would,

If i could only go that far

Then someday, one day it will come true.

At the point of giving up

Suddenly the bright light shines,

Then there you are with your melody

That brought music to my heart.

The song i sing is you,

And the reason that i do.

I hope that you could hear

The song i'm singing just for you.

Now the world is changing,

But my world with you has stood still.

How and when will our worlds collide?

So i can tell you now,

The song i sing is you and the reason that i do.

I would really go that far

For you to only hear me now

Praying and hoping this song i'm singing,

You'll be singing too.

If i could only go that far,

Then someday, one day you'll come true.
