Heals My Soul

This is one of my original song compositions, but of course without a melody here it is still a poem. I wrote this for a friend last 2011.

Oh the air breathes your name

When i'm alone and far away from you,

Your voice fills my heart,

Your touch is all i know,

Your love is where i go.

The warmth of your embrace,

To kiss your face,

Those are the things i need to die and live.

Hear me when i say,

I don't know how to let go

It kills me so,

To hold you close 

Heals my soul.

Tears me inside

When we're apart,

To hold you close

Heals my soul.
