In The Midst

In the midst of my loneliness

I think of you instead of the usual things.

Maybe you are my getaway,

But i don't know if these are the right words to say.

Because in the midst of my loneliness

The thought of your being

Can make or break my feelings.

You can be my shadow,

You can be my light.

You can be my everything,

But you can be the cause of my broken heart.

So tell me, am i crazy or am i just in a complex kind of love?

One sided for so many years,

One sided but i don't blame you for any tears.

Because you don't know,

Because i can't say,

And because you're just too far away.

In the midst of my happiness

The thought of you makes me realize

I am still alive.

In the midst of the thought you are alive somewhere

Is all i have.

In the midst of my life

I don't know if i'm going back or moving forward,

But i am focus and forced to go onward.

Weather there's a prize or a price to pay.

In the midst of my words

All i wanted to say is,

I want to find you,

I want to give it a try,

even if chasing you is like

Reaching out to the stars

Or wandering through the ice and fire.

But i want to find you,

I need to know what my life will be

If there's you in a flesh and bones.

Not just a picture carved in my heart

That feels like a crashing stone.

In the midst of my dreams

I call out to you,

In the midst of my mind

I live with you,

In the midst of my heart

I sing for you,

In the midst of reality,

It is still unknown..
