A Masked Harlequin

A Masked Harlequin

A Poem by Svennn’s Monologue

A live performance,
of a Harlequin.
The masked clown with a crestfallen face.
Does the audience know?

Tons of emotion behind the mask,
But, does the world know?
Harlequin portrayed as a smiling kid,
But did he smiled?

As the performance carried on,
Applause, laugh and cheers were heard,
But, does the harlequin happy?
Did he smiled?
Did he feel proud?

A mask that all human always,
Put on their face,
A smile that hides the pain,
A smile that lied to it's owner,
A smile that everyone always put,
A sad smile.
