oh rhopalocera

Rhopaloceras; and what they do to my heart

a butterfly

wins me over

with a flutter of its wings

to the lush green plantation

a pop of lavender

it brings

gazing at

the fluttering beauties

wonder filled; my heart sings

and at the dawn of winter

to life; my stagnant heart

springs

my mind races

with galloping farm horses

at the marvel of all things.
