Chapter 4

Chapter 4

A Chapter by Dylan (S.T)

The rest of the day I felt like I was going to be sick and the feeling wouldn't go away. It was clear by looking at me that I wasn't feeling well, but what you couldn't see, were my eyes darting around constantly trying to find something sharp to relieve the stress and new wave of depression brought on by Sarah's comment during breakfast.

"Hopefully you'll be next to try to off yourself" kept playing through my head over and over.

As Brianna and I walked down the halls of Bears Den, I spotted a small glimmering object on the floor and I took the oppertunity to 'tie my shoe.' Reaching down, I realized what the object was.

"Who would be careless enough to drop a paperclip in the middle of the hall..." I thought to myself as I picked it up while acting like I was tieing my shoe.

"You ok?" Brianna asked looking down at me with a slight look of concern across her face. My answer was a simple nod, as I bowed my head and looked down as we walked to my counsllors office.

Brianna quietly knocked and waited for the woman behind the door to answer telling us to enter.

"Come in." Came the muffled reply to the knocking. Brianna looked at me with a look of reassurance before opening the door and letting me enter, only this time she came in with me instead of sitting outside waiting.

"Hello Eva. Brianna spoke to me during breakfast and told me that you still have yet to speak, but you have made a breakthrough and began to answer yes and no questions with head movements, is this correct?" I didn't move any. "Well, it seems you are still uncomfortable around me, or is it that you have a bond with her that you don't have with anyone else." She looked at Brianna for a moment then spoke again. "Brianna, how recent was it that Eva first made progress?"

"It was this morning right before breakfast."

"I see, and what do you think may have triggered the bond you now have with each other?"

"I'm not sure, it may have been that I spend more time around her than anyone else here. That would be my guess anyway."

"I see, well it seems Eva here is looking at my picture again.. Maybe someday she will want me to explain what it means to me.Sadly though, it is time for this session to end. I will see you again later this evening Eva, and I would appreciate it if you could keep me updated on any progress she makes Brianna."

"Of course, counsillor." Brianna smiled at the lady behind the desk. "Let's go Eva." She said leading me away.

Chapter 4 is complete, but I feel as though it isn't very good, so don't judge me too harshly, I know it could be better! Thanks! =)
