Chapter 2

     I awoke sometime in the middle of the night to people talking outside my room. Usually it was extremely quiet around this time. I checked my alarm and it showed to be only two thirty in the morning. "What the hell is going on..." I muttered  while I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes, and stood up. I tried to find my way to the door, but I fell down once I was able to understand what they were saying.
     "What happened?"
     "We aren't sure Ma'am. The night shift were doing their rounds when one of them looked into this one's room and noticed she wasn't in bed. Wondering why, she went into the room and found Jessica in a corner unconscious."
     I'm not sure what happened next, all I could make out were the loud noises of people rushing around and the screeching wheels of something as it was rolled away leaving me lying here on the floor, crying in silence.

so are you going to flesh out this chapter? Varying chapter lengths are fine, just my opinion that this one would benefit from adding to it - but the tension is nice.

Short chapter, but it was good all the same :o It left a lot to be desired haha, can't wait to read more.
