Mind Escape

Save me from myself.
Save me from my mind and thoughts.
I need an escape, a place to forget
Every day, every day
You run through my head and it's impossible to stop you from running.
I can’t get you out of my head.
I need a mind escape to an island paradise,
a place where I can lay alone on the sand and forget,
just forget you and me and what never was or will be.

 

I’ve gone away so no one can find me
I need the peace and serenity
I go around like nothing is wrong,
but you should have known all along.
You say you have noticed but you never try
The hole in my heart grows bigger.
I need a better escape.

 

Nothing, nowhere
no place for me to go to escape this world.
