Branched Friends

Branched Friends

A Poem by Rachael

Friendships are like trees.

They can grow and grow,

 new branches adding on

and flowers blooming in the spring.

Branches grow close together and far apart.

But what if one of those branches break?

In the winter, when the flowers die.

What then?

Nothing can last forever and nothing can make it.

That is just what happens in life.

You gain new friends and lose old ones.

You lose your best friend, yet gain a new one that

may last even longer than the other.

No one can predict the details but the general idea stays the same.

I think you have captured the reality of friendship, and I like the way you use trees as an illustration. I wrote a fairy take about friendship. Please give it a read.

One minor error - you said "braches" multiple times and I'm pretty sure you meant "branches".
Other than that, nice read! :D

And so true. I liked this because it really happens. =D Good job!
