My Dog <3

My Dog <3

A Poem by Rachael

I never thought that I would lose you, and now that we did it is unbearable.

We would play in the grass when I was four.

You helped us through the good and the bad..the better and the worse.

When family died and a cousin was born.

When we moved and i cried for nights, not wanting to leave my friends.

You were there by my side.

We fed you and took care of you.

Constantly played and petted you.

Why?

Why did you have to leave?

Why did you have to be so good at hiding that you were hurt?

We loved you and still carry you in our hearts.

We love you so much.

Yeah. I understand your pain I was like that when my first pet died. We only had that little guy (hamster aka Zippy) for about six months then he had a stroke. We all get that way after a beloved campanion dies. Very heart-felt write!
