Footsteps

Footsteps

A Poem by mendedwords

Laws are often unapologetic, broken
In pieces or peace will often slip
From fingertips.
These steps may be unorthodox
To familiar footsteps that walk
Tight ropes that tie dreams until they choke.
Each movement provoked in the spirit of risk taking, each step leaps miles over another hesitation.

I takes unorthodox steps to leap miles...but those steps are always working a tight rope...

nicely said in a compact style.
