Cursive on my beach

Cursive on my beach

A Poem by mendedwords

Of all words to be written in this sand,

These stand at shore, waiting for the

passing of waves in passion.

As shadows pass along; in awe passengers

Communicate in commentary.

Gazing on broken sea shells or dreams;

Open bottles recovered from foreign

Vacancies.

Star gazers interpret faint words

And live out actions vicariously.

Cursive at even tide, but even ink won't

Break waves at sunset.

Although tonight minds have peace,

Tonight, a celebration in the sand.

oh how wonderful this would be...to send or receive a message in a bottle...actual, real writing...and sent by waves to the intended...

or just sent with the hopes that someone will read the words of love and return the sentiment...sometimes love seems about as likely to find, (true love) as walking a beach in the moonlight and spotting a letter in a bottle washed up on shore.

"but even ink won't break waves at sunset"

yes.
