Going home to those who you love, Knowing that everything will be okay no matter what happens

Driving home on the freeway

At the end of a long day

As the sun already is gone

And most of the day is done

The moon is shining bright

As I pass all the restaurants, stores and lights

Just trying to get where I need to be

To find the love I need to see

At night in this house where the light is on

When the day is said and done

I’m surrounded by those who I love

And the knowledge of Him up above

Everything is going to be okay

It’s time to rest; prepare for a brand new day

Tomorrow we will set out for new sights

For now, turn off the lights

In the middle of a long hard day

Where you run out of words to say

And you don’t know what do

And all you can do is be you

I think of that place I can go

And everything will be okay so

Just a few more hours

Until I can go home

At night in this house where the light is on

When the day is said and done

I’m surrounded by those who I love

And the knowledge of Him up above

When the going is tough

When life is rough

When you have had just about enough

I hope found that place where you can hide

That person all your secrets you can confide

And that there is always enough love
