I See Colors In The Sky

I See Colors In The Sky

A Poem by ruthless baby

Watching birds fly

I don't see how or why

They stay up there in the stormy weather.

Lighter than air

Must be a life without lies

Somewhere up there

I see colors in the sky

Shadows in a horizon of pain free goodbyes

Good luck with your life without me

Down there

I tippie-toe on thunder bolts of wait

And when my late heart returns with all it's windy might

I'll ride to Earth on a lightnin' strike

For I'm the only one who can sing the songs

That make the angels afraid to sing along

I see colors in the sky

Shadows in a horizon of pain free goodbyes

Good luck with your life without me

Down there.

And when they drop something on me

I take it as a sign

"That's how they do it" I swear

"looks like s**t

Doesn't float on air"
