Love Me Little Love Me LOng

Love Me Little Love Me LOng

A Poem by ruthless baby

Constant love is moderate ever

And it will through life persevere

Give to me that with true endeavour

I will it restore.

A suit of durance, let it be

For all weathers that for me

For the land or for the sea

Lasting evermore

Love me little love me long

Is the burdon of my song

For a love too hot and strong

Burns soon to waste

I am with little content

And a little from you sent

Is enough; with true intent

To be steadfast friend

Say you'll love me while you live

And I to you my heart will give

Never dreaming to decieve

While that life endures.

Now and after death insues

I to you will keep my truth

Now as when in my youth

This my love insures

Love me little love me long

Is the burdon of my song

For a love too hot and strong

Burns soon to waste.
