GOD'S APARTMENT

GOD'S APARTMENT

A Poem by rutherford

With the most powerful telescope

We can finally look past the big bang

Into God’s apartment

And glimpse a nightstand

Next to the futon

A lava lamp

A birthday gift from his older sister

Containing slow motion milky blobs

Other universes

Including ours

Scientists strain to see what’s on the bookcase

But it’s just out of sight.
