Who would want mass produced

information from industrial information farms

rounded up and branded

processed and packaged

served with unknown ingredients

We need free range, organic information

allowed to grow and roam

unimpeded, uncorrupted.

That's the information for us.

Yes, we do - rather than the pre-packaged synthetic slop that is so readily available. Like junk food, "junk info" is bad for us...

Oh, my, Rutherford. I get it but the problem (for me) is that (IMHO) not every mind is ready for (or can assimilate) that kind of information; especially raw and uncooked. In its native state it's scary and vivid and the intense obscurity of it is what drives people to seek out and accept the mass produced, the processed and prepackaged. Oh, woe is them. (sic) i-4-u, delivered to your brain daily... herds of distal information running about Savannah (GA); now that's a singular analog picture.

It was my reaction to hearing technologists say information wants to be free as if it had some will of its own while also seeing how some seek to control it. Thanks for your thoughts on this one.

I liked how you compare information with industrial product and organic...a bit different...saying things should be said without the red tape put in fine print...details they do not show you...
